To mark the 350th anniversary of the death of Rembrandt van Rijn, 2019 has been declared the themed year of “Rembrandt and the Golden Age”. The photo project “HET LANDSCHAP - Wandelingen met Rembrandt” by Dmitri Broido is a homage to the Dutch artist, inspired by his drawings and etchings. The images depict typical North Dutch natural landscapes, devoid of people and poetic. Particular value is placed on the play of light and shade.
