In 1987, the photographer and video artist Uli Sigg accompanied and documented the building of Cologne artist Rudolf A. Scholl’s installed sculpture, “Kassette will Zarge werden”. More than a mere photographic reportage about art under construction, his works are an examination of the descending motion phases, of the aesthetic and dynamic of the sculpture itself. In addition, a screening of different videos by Uli Sigg will be on show at the vernissage and finissage.
