After 7 months the Photoszene-Festival took place again in May 2019. The festivals 2018 and 2019 were closely linked: The six exhibitions of Erik Kessels, Ola Kolehmainen, Ronit Porat, Fiona Tan, Roselyne Titaud and Antje Van Wichelen at Museum Ludwig, MAKK - Museum for Applied Arts Cologne, Kölnisches Stadtmuseum, Photographische Sammlung/SK Stiftung Kultur,  Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum and Rheinisches Bildarchiv at Kaune Contemporary have formed the central core of the festival. Over 65 further exhibitions on photography were shown in parallel by Cologne's unique art scene - from other institutions such as the Käthe Kollwitz Museum Cologne, the Forum for Photography, the Japan Foundation and a large number of renowned galleries to art spaces and studios - only seven months after the last festival, Cologne was once again be thrilling visitors with an exciting and varied programme!
