For 50 years, Anna E. Stärk has been moving with her camera through streets across the world, and everywhere she goes, she encounters who place their trust in her when she photographs them, even unasked. With the tacit consent of the unknown counterpart and a fond gaze on an unposed, rather everyday situation, she takes portraits of people in the public space and thus documents current events. Neither the analogue nor digital shots are post-edited.
