For the exhibition opening of the AMA artist Erik Kessels on 4 May 2019 in the Museum für Angewandte Kunst Cologne, the British sound artist SCANNER creates the appropriate acoustic atmosphere. In his performance "Memory Sonatas", the knights, church bells, Renaissance sculptures and iron chests from the MAKK's collection of models are brought to life with a slow adaptation of a Beethoven sonata. SCANNER makes Erik Kessel's exhibition audible ...

The exhibition "Archive Land" is a playful three-dimensional installation that invites visitors to actively engage with the images from the MAKK archive. The soundtrack of the same name by SCANNER to the exhibition will be published on cassette.
