In a kind of open experimental arrangement, Photon | Icon brings together works by artists who work with digital photography, CGI, photogrammetry, scanography, augmented reality, motion capture, etc. In this connection, the question is raised of how far the photographic principles underlying these applications are further developed, hacked, glitched, simulated or completed abandoned in the respective works; and whether new, medially independent developments arise from this.
