At first glance, we associate very different creative periods and concepts with the names Karl Blossfeldt and Jim Dine. Yet the combination proves to be highly intriguing. Both artists are concerned with an attentive observation of the plant and above all, with a balanced portrayal of it. Whereas Blossfeldt’s attention lies on the depiction of the smallest plant parts and their shape, Dine’s focus is directed more towards the biotope and space.
